Day 107/365
Busy day yesterday, I nearly did not
get a photo at all. I was planning on all these
wonderful light on water shots at
Narooma last night.
I didn't realise that there really are not that
many places to see lights on the water there.
These two photos are taken in the same spot,
I couldn't hold the camera still, so they are
pretty blah.

Sheri and I went over to Narooma to attend
the pre-sale get together.
So sad that they will be closing maybe as soon
as the weekend.
I did manage to purchase quite a bit
of stock, hopefully it will see us
through for quite awhile.
Bit hard to get anything that I knew would
still be usable in a month (you know not out of date).

Day 106/365
I walked Tiff to the end of the drive this morning
hoping to catch the little Wren that we keep seeing.
He is a bit different to the normal ones we see.
Anyway he was nowhere to be seen,
but I did spot this young
Kookaburra, he flew into the tree top
along the side of the drive.
He very nicely sat in the tree,
while this weird lady in the big
purple dressing gown stood under him
and called him a cockie, no wonder
he was giving me a funny look.
Same bird different view.
This is when I was calling him cockie,
and whistling at him.
I didn't realise until I was ready to take
the photos of my LO's that I took these photos
using the sunset setting.
**************************************
Now the LO's, again not happy with the photo,
everything is so much brighter than it should be.
I started this on Sunday, and got around to
finishing it today. If you know the lime ricky papers
from Basic Grey you will know what colour it
should be.
And for this one I borrowed a sketch done by Lexie,
it is the May sketch challenge over at ready steady scrap.
The colours are over bright in this one too,
I have tried to darken it using photoshop,
this is the best I could get it.
I have used the same range of papers
for both these Lo's. Will have to do something
different for the next one.

I have been invited to the local scrapshop's pre-sale
get together tomorrow night, so I may not post until
Thursday. I will be sad when they close, I will
miss my weekly catch up with them, plus I
don't know where I will get my supplies from now.
Thanks for popping by again.

Day 105/365
Oh dear, I am going to bore you all
with heaps of photos again.
I just cant decide which ones I like the best.
So I will just put them all up.
This one is Barragoot Beach, just before sunset.
This is the same beach, looking back the other way.
The girls climbed over the rocks, so of course I
had to follow them, I was taking a pic
of Tiff here, just as I took the pic she stepped behind
the rock, but I still like the colours and the
bubbles and everything.
This is a pattern in one of the rocks.
Looks like layers of chocolate.
This one looks like a lunar landscape, or
a mountain covered in snow.
It is the water covering the rocks after
a wave washed over them.
Some grass on the side of the cliff we climbed.
We scaled up the side of the cliff here.
All was good until I looked behind me,
I am scared of heights so I could not take a pic
of the climb.
I nearly got home without taking a sunset,
but we were so close to Cuttagee I
just could not help myself.
The whole sky lit up with this one.
One lonely little Heron.
I had the camera zoomed as far as it
would go to take this.
Then coming back across the bridge at
Barragoot, we had to stop to catch this one.
And this totally awesome photo below was taken
by Sheri. I love it, looks like some sort of
oil painting or something.
She took it while I was zooming up the hill,
she did not want me to stop again, so
she just clicked and said keep going.
Have I already said I love it.

Sheri thinks I am weird, she said
it is blurry and blah, but I
think it is fantastic.
Sorry for being a pain and adding heaps of things again.
I just cant help myself.
That is it for me tonight,
check with you all again tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by.

Photos and Layouts.

Day 104/365
I had to work again today, so I thought
I had better take my photo on the way.
This was taken over the edge of the rock face,
the morning sun was reflecting off the water,
makes it really sparkle.
Montague Island is just visible on the horizon,
a little to the right of centre.

I closed the shop 5 mins early so that I could
take another photo, just in case the morning one
didn't work. This was taken from the
corner near the bridge.

Ok, cant help myself, I had to go
to the headland where I took the morning
photo, and I had to take this photo, how awesome is
it. It could almost be a black and white pic,
except for the sky in the top of the pic.

Woohoo, another LO, am I on a roll.
I started this one last night, finished it this morning
at work. I am not happy with the photo, I took it in
the door of the shop and the colours are a bit blah.
I have edited and added a better picture,
taken this morning in better light.
Thought I might do this one too. I had
it finished just after lunch, record for me.
Really happy with this one, love the photo
of Sheri and Zayne. I was not going to use these
papers for it, but they really suited the photo.
Again the photo is a bit blah, it is a pain
working until it is nearly dark,
makes it hard to get the right colours in the pics.
I have added a better picture here too,
really didn't like the other one.

I also started another LO,
but it will have to wait for a day or two.
That is it for me for another day,
wonder what tomorrow will bring.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Day 103/365
Guess what, not a sunset in sight today.
Sheri and I went for a drive over to Narooma today.
Would you believe I forgot to put the memory card
back in the camera from last night, so I could only
take a limited number of photos using the
internal memory on the camera.
I took her for a look at the Aussie Rock,
she had never been there either, she had seen
it from sea (when she went to Montagui Island with school).
We were intrigued by the cement thingy's at
the end of the rock wall. Funny
looking things. Wonder did
they run out of rocks or what.
This is the ocean looking back towards Narooma,
the colours in the water were stunning.
We ducked into Mystery Bay on the way
past, the water was pretty there too.
Sheri found a tree to climb, if she had
of seen the big bull ants climbing along
with her she may have had second thoughts.
Another one of the tree climber.
Another LO.
Yipee, on a roll. Lol.
Sorry about the title little man,
but you do look grumpy, is it
because I removed you from your fun.
I am sure eating charcoal cant be
good for you, and look at the mess
you made of yourself.

Ok, wow! look at the time, and I have already
loaded my pics, I am early tonight.
Must be cause I had dinner cooked early.
Hope everyone had a fabulous day today,
I know ours was pretty good.
Thanks for visiting.

Day 102/365
Guess what, another day,
another sunset.
I don't like this time change thing.
By the time I get out of
work there is no light left to take
any photos. The sun was long gone by the time
I took these.
I pulled up near the creek just down the
road from the shop.
The reflections in the water are pretty
awesome.
***********************************************
Check this out.
I finally finished some scrapping.
I have had these two LO's almost done
for weeks. I was really stuck for a
title (again). I don't know how
other people always manage to come up
with something totally awesome all the time.
My brain freezes when I get that far.
I originally started this one for the white with
one challenge blog. It was white with
coral last month. I messed around with heaps
of stuff on this one. Gesso, bubble-wrap,
date stamp, paint and glitter on the letters,
angel wings with pearl hearts as butterflies.
The list goes on and on.

This one I started before the other one,
and stalled again when I got to the title.
The sticks poking up on this one are
from a fan that was half falling to bits,
they have an interesting design so I
snapped them off and inked them.

I also started another LO, but I had lots of customers
this arvo, mostly between 5-5.30, so I sort of
had to stop and I was on a roll.
Hopefully I will get a chance to scrap
tomorrow too (yay, I am not going to work).
***************************************
I got an email from my local scrap shop
today, they are closing down, I usually
manage to sneak in there once a week
for my retail therapy. Where oh where
am I going to shop now.
***********************************
That's it from me for the day, I
am early for a change, so I will have
plenty of time for blog hopping.
Thanks for visiting,
I appreciate all of your feedback.
These are my photos from yesterday.
I was playing with the settings on the camera,
try to see what is the best setting for
fireworks, sparklers etc.
I think I need a lesson or two,
the only decent photo is the one taken using
the Scene button.
All the others I changed the settings,
but found that I still had to use the
self timer button set on 2, or
the photos didn't work at all.

I am thinking that maybe I should just stick to
the fireworks setting in the scene mode.
