Tah Dah, here it is, warts and all. The Lo with my mug on it. It has taken a week for me to finish this, I really dont like red or gold, and using a photo of myself, what can I say, not my favourite subject. But I will say thanks to Sheri for taking the pic. I dont like being in front of the camera at all.

I so tried to be original and use stuff that I might not have done before. I painted some wooden skewers, twisted some crochet cotton, mounted the photo on the same coloured cs as the background. The colours have not come out true. The bracket and numbers are actually gold, not that bronze colour, and the reds seem brighter. I am my own worst critic and I dont like this, but hey it is done now. Maybe I should have gone into my comfort zone and used colours I am comfortable with, like pink and brown, or maybe blue.

Here is the Lo that I done for the delightful Ruby, she and Sheri were doing a photo swap, I loved her photo so much I could not resist doing a Lo too. Such a gorgeous subject to work with. Thanks for allowing me to publish this Rubes.

Awesome!!! susan if you hate it so much u can always send it to me...hehehe... I haven't done a cousins album yet(one of them one day things)..You asked did I have a cricut...sure do I'm too lazy to get it out most the time so I mainly use the cuttlebug or sidekick....I'd go cuttlebug if I were you but then you have to buy the alpha's but any brands go in the bug.... Unless you have the cricut set up all the time its a pain having to get it out all the time... the slice is very portable if you are wanting to carry it around... whatever one u get it will cost more for cartridges or alpha's the bug does emboss but as well... I've got the bug, sidekick, cricut and slice...

Wow Vic, you have the lot. I looked at the cricut when they first came out, but i could not justify the cost with the amount of times I knew I would use it. If there had of been others around that could have shared, it would have been better. Sort of glad now that I didn't rush in and buy one.
